The neighborhood is primarily residential, quiet and safe. At 100 meters there is a small grocery store and snack bars at 200m. At 300 meters you will arrive at Vallcarca Avenue where there are numerous other shops.
You can reach the city center in just 20 minutes with the line 3 of the subway which is about 400 meters away. From Lesseps or Vallcarca Stations, there are only 4 stops to "Passeig de Gràcia" or 5 to "Plaça Catalunya". You can also opt for the bus which stops about 200 meters away from the flat.
The flat offers a curiosity that is its access to Parc Güell: a nice 15 minutes walk through a wooded area which entry is just in front of the flat. This access is free, but since last September, an 8 € fee is required to access the heart of the park (the rest of the park is free). From up there, you will enjoy all the beauty of this park which is actually the second most visited monument of Barcelona.
